In this demo website, I have used several technologies including:

PHP, MySQL, Ruby On Rails, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and CSS.

The cover pages are written mainly in PHP, while the photo album is written in Ruby On Rails. All photos information are stored in MySQL datebase and data can be accessed from both PHP and Ruby On Rails.

The Ajax styling are written using html, JavaScript, and CSS.

Other than these technologies, I am also very strong in the following:

C++, C#, ASP.net, VB.net, Java, Bash, XSL, Caché(MUMPS), and Tokyo Cabinet.

This demo page is hosted on my home servers using the following softwares:

FreeBSD, Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Memcached.

FYI, my web server farm is formed by three approximate 9 years old computers(Pentium II class). To improve the performance, other than optimizing and fine tuning the systems and codes, I implement file and database load balancing to distribute the workload across the members as well.
